A licensed psychotherapist with broad experience
My name is Sara Ramsberg and I run Ramsbergpsykoterapi AB. I see clients for individual therapy and couples therapy on Södermalm in Stockholm. Sessions are held in Swedish or English, at my practice or online.
Training and licensing
I am a licensed psychotherapist with a CBT orientation and an authorized social worker. I hold training from Uppsala University in cognitive behavioural therapy and have long experience of working with mental health. I am trained in EMDR and trauma treatment, and in EFT, attachment-based couples therapy. I also hold training as a supervisor and teacher in psychotherapy.
Private practice on Södermalm
I now work full time in my private practice on Södermalm, at Krukmakargatan 35C, close to Zinkensdamm metro station.
Sessions in Swedish and English
Both individual therapy and couples therapy can be held in Swedish or English. This makes my practice accessible if you are more comfortable in English when speaking about deeper, personal matters.
In person or online
You can choose to visit my practice on Södermalm or meet online via secure, encrypted video sessions through the Kaddio platform. Many combine the two depending on where life is right now.
How I work
I have CBT as my theoretical base and add attachment, compassion, existential, relational and systemic perspectives when it is helpful. We choose method and pace together, based on what suits you.
Background as supervisor and teacher
I am trained as a supervisor and teacher in psychotherapy. Enquiries about supervision assignments are welcomed by email.
