For relationships that want to understand, repair or end well
Couples therapy can be about communication, relationship-strengthening behaviours, intimacy, changing sexual patterns, anxiety, jealousy, or making the ending of a relationship as good as possible. The work starts from your wishes.

When can couples therapy help?
When conversations get stuck
After infidelity or betrayal. You talk but do not reach each other. Conflicts return in the same patterns.
After a big change
Children, moving, illness, loss or other life events have left marks in the relationship.
When closeness feels difficult
You want to find your way back to each other or understand what has changed.
When separation is on the table
You want to make a considered decision and end the relationship well.
How do the sessions work?
The work starts from your situation and can touch on adult attachment, communication, self-esteem and emotions. I can work with Emotionally Focused Therapy, EFT, to increase understanding and strengthen the attachment between you.
A session is 60 minutes. Usually you both come together, but individual sessions can happen when needed. As a couples therapist I create a space where you can speak and be heard. I ask, deepen and explore what is sometimes not said out loud. My focus is on your relationship and the patterns you get into, so that we can find ways forward together.
